I hope wether you are looking for information about me as a Team Lollipop advisor or about products I have used with my daughter that I think are the best things since sliced bread, you find what you are looking for!

My name is Helen Page and I live in Otley, West Yorkshire with my husband Adam, our daughter Brianna (16 months) and I have a 7 year old stepson.

I live in Otley, West Yorkshire and decided to become a real nappy advisor when I realised that there was a huge lack of choice in and around our town when it came to real nappies and there wasn’t anyone to support woman and families who chose to use them. I received little information when I was pregnant about real nappies and went out to buy them with no knowledge – when I came to use them they leaked and I was instantly put off and concluded it wasn’t really worth the hassle. With all the recent publicity regarding global warming and recycling I decided to try again. I armed myself with information off the internet, bought the nappies and it’s be a massive success – so much so that I’ve given away my disposables!

I have just joined Team Lollipop as an advisor and am hoping to work in the Wharfedale area, advising and supplying cloth nappies and other products to parents.

Modern cloth nappies are easy to use and don’t need to be soaked for hours on end. I stick mine in a bucket, rinse them at the end of the day and stick them straight in the washing machine with the rest of the washing. They can be a fashion statement – I’ve seen nappies and wraps in millions of different fabrics and finishes and they are a lot more fun than their disposable cousins. What’s more is Mum’s actually enjoy buying them!

Whilst it is possible to buy any number of different nappies from the internet, its much better to sit, touch and see what you are buying before you buy them. It’s also good to get advice from someone who knows, about how to use and care for the nappies, following a diagram isn’t nearly as good as someone showing you.

I’m not going to bore you with information on why you should use reusable nappies – chances are if you’ve found this site you already know why.
